Fundisa Coaching is working with the Goodfield Method®, that teaches us how the unconscious, non-verbal strategies can be seen and understood. This is the so-called 'Non Verbal Leak’. These unconscious messages will manifest in a person’s facial expressions. They will show your adopted behavior. The signals we send unconsciously are often more honest, clear and more nuanced than words and are dominant in our total communication (70%-90%). It is a consistent, repetitive and predictable pattern. The 'Non Verbal Leak’ is the other half of the message. The difference between what you actually say (consciously) and what you show (unconsciously). When there is an imbalance in the system, we will be less convincing and effective in our communication. Actually, we give a double message. The Goodfield Method® makes you aware of your non-verbal communication. The method gives you the ability to recognize your behavior and change this into new and more effective strategies. It brings our conscious and unconscious behavior back into balance and this will be noticeable in the way we communicate.
