FUNFIRST GLOBAL SKILLERS PRIVATE LIMITED is a Skill Development company based out of UNIT 205, A Wing, KAILAS INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX VEER SAVARKAR MARG, PARK SITE, VIKHROLI WEST, MUMBAI, Maharashtra, India. “Funfirst” as the name suggests works on the philosophy of nurturing & building a collaborative, fun environment in anything we do, this fosters creativity and innovative mindset. We as a team come with 14 years of contract manufacturing experience working in the CE domain as a co-maker for brands like LG, Samsung, Sony, Onida, Reliance Digital, Whirlpool etc. manufacturing products like CRT/LCD/LED TVs, Mobiles, Air-conditioners, Refrigerators, Microwave ovens & Washing machines. We got into Skilling by accident in 2012 when our group company adopted an ITI in Maharashtra State with our MD being the chairman of IMC. We could soon realize a disconnect between industry needs and curriculum. We created the 1st curriculum in India in partnership with LG, Sony & Onida on “Panel TV Repair” (students were being trained on CRT TV that was obsolete by that time). Over last 7 years we have experimented and worked on multiple facets of Skill Development Eco System namely: 1) Strengthening Vocational Training Ecosystem in India: This includes capacity building of faculty members, curriculum development (Panel TV Repair, Inverter Air-conditioners, 3 D Printers & new age skills etc.), Revenue generation activities in ITIs, CSR Partnerships. 2) Developing & Manufacturing Innovative Training Simulators: Only training company In India working with Industry partners like Voltas, Godrej, Reliance Digital to develop training simulators. This enhances the efficacy of our training. 3) Fresh, Re/Up Skilling in Technical Domain 4) Linking all our short-term programs with Work Integrated Skilling program B Voc (Graduation programs in association with Tata Institute of Social Science-TISS). This helps us to create a very interesting vertical mobility roadmap for our candidates.
