As part of the Funke Group, we are one of the leading providers of underground drainage and sewer pipe systems and fittings. The foundations for the success of our traditional, medium-sized company were laid in 1962 by Günter Funke, in the Münsterland region of Germany. The production of the first straight-length pipes for the drainage of agricultural surfaces in private garages have established us as one of the pioneers of the plastic piping industry. By the time Günter’s sons Norbert and Hans-Günter Funke took over responsibility for running the company in 1994, the number of employees had risen from 35 to over 130. Since the company was passed on to the next generation, the expertise and dedication of its employees have combined with a constantly expanding product range, allowing Funke to rise to the top of both the German and European markets. Today, the Funke Group has more than 300 employees. We develop, produce and market a varied range of products, from underground drainage and sewer pipe systems and wastewater disposal systems through to modern rainwater infiltration and ground reinforcement systems.
