Future Foresters

Future Foresters is a special interest group, as part of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry. Our mission is to be part of the solution. Forestry in New Zealand needs keen, talented, young people to enter and stay in all areas of the industry. We will do this by; ESTABLISHING - a community of young foresters. A place where Foresters can engage with the industry & feel part of the collective group. INCREASING - the number of young people who choose forestry as a career path. BUILDING - engagement & awareness of forestry as a diverse & rewarding profession within schools & tertiary providers. This page will be an interactive space where young up-and-coming members in the forestry sector can share a piece of their work life (we encourage submissions from all forestry related professions) and a central hub for networking forestry professionals in the New Zealand workforce.
