Future Ligonier Alliance

This organization was started in October 2003 by a group of business and property owners in downtown Ligonier. The purpose of this group is to create an interest in the revitalization and restoration of the downtown and surrounding area. Our beautiful Main Street and downtown have been designated a National Historic District since 1978. We have also joined with the Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana and Region 3A. We feel the time has come to do all we can to preserve and improve the beauty and history of this area, making it worthwhile for businesses to locate in these buildings. Profitable businesses not only create jobs and add convenience to the community, but also generate tax revenue which benefits the entire community. As a nonprofit organization, we seek funding from donations, memberships, grants, and fundraising to accomplish our goals. We invite you to join us!
