Future Oak Farm

At Future Oak Farm, we’re exploring novel solutions to climate resilience, biodiversity loss, and food security in an upland context through agroforestry, broadacre permaculture, and holistic management. Our enterprise builds on traditional farming practices, creating a biodiverse and productive system by working with nature rather than against it. Alongside this, we are proud to be part of Social Farming Ireland - opening our farm as a space where participants can engage in everyday farm activities in a safe, supportive environment. Social Farming brings together people, land, and community, improving wellbeing, building skills, and adding real social value to our work in food and land stewardship. For us, farming is about more than food - it’s about growing soil, growing food, and growing community.
