Founded in 2004 by HRH The Duchess of Kent and Nicholas Robinson, we break down barriers, create opportunities and harness the power of music to transform young lives across the UK. With over 4.5 million children living in poverty in the UK and over children with exceptional musical abilities failed by society every year, we want to achieve an equal reality where all gifted young musicians from low-income backgrounds flourish. Through our Development & Junior Programmes, we offer unique opportunities for young musicians to build confidence, develop personal skills, and enhance their musical experience. We aim to support, develop and listen to the needs and aspirations of gifted young musicians who present challenges to their musical development. Our core is in the evolution of the young lives we affect; inspiring examples of musical talent and life development.
