Future Wild

Future Wild is an interdisciplinary Brisbane-based practice that reimagines the city's potential to build social-ecological relationships, through the cultivation of nature, biodiversity, and agriculture in urban environments. Underpinned by three interconnected disciplines - Urban Agriculture, Design, and Ecology - our team’s experience spans across the planning, design, construction, operation and management phases of the projects we undertake. Our team brings together a diversity of perspectives and knowledge from a range of professions including urban agriculture, environmental science, ecology, landscape architecture, psychotherapy, the arts and medicine. Some of our clients include hospitality (The Calile Hotel, Supernormal Brisbane, Novotel Brisbane), producers (Suncoast Fresh), precincts (Howard Smith Wharves), landscape architects (McGregor Coxall) and government (South Bank Corporation). Future Wild acknowledges the Turrbal and Yuggera people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands upon which we live and farm. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present, and future, and recognise their enduring and unbroken connection to land, water, sky, community, and culture. We acknowledge sovereignty of this land was never ceded.
