Futurecat
The Faraday Institution’s collaborative FutureCat project has set out to develop cathode materials to drive the transition towards electric vehicles: – Developing cathodes that hold more charge and withstand prolonged cycling – – Promote ion mobility to increase durability, range and acceleration for the electric vehicle market We are a consortium of 7 academic institutions including University of Warwick WMG, University of Sheffield, University of Birmingham, Imperial College London, University of Cambridge, Lancaster University, University of Nottingham, together with a national research facility of Diamond Light Source. Our lead academic is Prof Louis Piper, of WMG, University of Warwick, with administrative and project leader support across WMG and University of Sheffield.
