Elena Farini and Christophe Widerski are cofounder of FWG architects FWG is a European agency for architecture and urbanism, based in Lausanne, Paris, Madrid. FWG develops singular architectural projects as well as urban and landscape projects. Flexibility, open programming and the reduction of resource consumption are recurring issues. The method may best be described as an integrative approach. A team of consultants from different fields participate in our projects (structure, climatic conception, light, philosophy, art, design, information design, architecture theory, landscape, ecology, urban economy). The synergy created by the consultants, as well as by the collaboration with teams from outside, is the base for the flexibility necessary to respond to specific questions. FWG Architects has received 18 international prizes in architectural competitions and made a variety of projects, with a combination of architecture, landscaping and applied design. FWG is fully knowledgeable of all architectural and urban issues, particularly architectural and landscape heritage construction and transformation, the definition of heterogenous architecture, environmental matters, regulations and standards, internal bid and cost management, construction monitoring and coordination of different specialized stakeholders and representatives.
