The GADEPAM association has set itself the mission of promoting traditional know-how in the field of crafts and natural products. It has set up a social and solidarity marketing network throughout French Guyana in order to preserve an exceptional cultural heritage while participating in the sustainable development of the region, according to the principles of its ethical charter. In 2012, it created the "Maison de l'artisanat traditionnel et des produits naturels de Guyane".
