Galactosemia Foundation

Galactosemia Foundation, formally, Parents of Galactosemic Children, Inc is a non-profit charitable organization. Founded in February 1985 by a small group of mothers in New York, the Galactosemia Foundation realizes the need for further information and networking between affected families and professionals. Metabolic Clinics across the nation continue to assist the Galactosemia Foundation in researching families and information. Today our mailing list includes over families and extended families, professionals and clinics, media groups, donors, and numerous international contacts. Objectives and functions are achieved by unpaid volunteers.
