Galah is a cultural magazine for people who care about regional Australia. Over three issues each year, Galah celebrates regional Australia and the creative, diverse and innovative people who live here. For the first time in a long time, more people are moving into regional Australia than out of it. Galah is a new publication for this new era. We are independent and are accountable only to our readers. Our mission is to deliver truth and beauty and to tell the stories about regional Australia that go beyond drought, floods and fires. Our peers in the publishing industry recently honoured us with two big awards: Launch of the Year and Editor of the Year.
