Founded in 2003, Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) is focused on exploring for the most critical element required in the production of lithium batteries to power electric vehicles – cobalt. The company owns exploration tenements near Norseman and the Fraser Range in Western Australia’s southeast region. Both projects are prospective for cobalt-nickel laterite and nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mineralisation. Galileo is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code GAL and is focussed on rapidly evaluating and expanding its JORC (2012) compliant resources and other prospective targets within its tenements. At the Norseman project the company is exploring through field work and drilling to better understand the deposit geology.
