Game Time Foundation
Game Time Foundation is a non-profit sports foundation for kids in Colombia. In late January 2014 Nicole Fernandez started Game Time foundation. She’s a sports reporter from Miami, FL but her family is from Barranquilla, Colombia. In November 2013 she went to do a story and saw the desire many kids have to play the game they love but don’t have the equipment necessary. Since many parents can’t provide their child being in a sport because of how expensive it is. Game Time is about helping kids, from ages 4-18, stay active in their sport of choice by providing new or used (but in good condition) equipment for their personal use. Game Time helps baseball, softball, soccer and basketball teams. Since 2014 GT has helped more than 1,100 kids in Northern Colombia in 19 difference teams/towns.
