Gamumbi

Gamumbi (meaning 'Children' in Gumbaynggirr) is a community based not-for-profit early childhood education and care service which is managed by a dedicated Management Committee comprising of Gamumbi family and local community members. We provide quality care and education to families in our local community and were rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard by Department of Education and Communities in 2013 and Meeting in 2018. Our curriculum is guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework of Australia. Gamumbi Early Childhood Education Centre Management, Educators and Staff acknowledge the Gumbaynggirr people, the traditional custodians of the land on which our community comes together for the purpose of learning together, and pays our respects to the elders past, present and future.
