Garaventa AG is a Swiss company with headquarters in Rotkreuz and branches in Goldau, Uetendorf and Sion. The company is the Swiss part of the Doppelmayr Group and has established itself as a centre of competence with an international reputation for aerial tramways, funicular railways, material ropeways and demanding rope hoist work. Garaventa is responsible for all ropeway projects of the Doppelmayr Group in Switzerland. All functions and competences for the special ropeways are made available to the Group worldwide from Switzerland. Garaventa employs around 400 people in Switzerland.
