GardHouse bridges the gap between college and career for first-generation college students through paid internships, mentorship, and workforce readiness. We believe that students need more than a degree to succeed. Many first-generation students enter the workforce without professional experience, industry connections, or the financial support to pursue unpaid opportunities. GardHouse addresses that gap by placing students in 10-week paid, project-based internships with local small businesses, nonprofits, and companies committed to developing young talent. Our vision is a future where every first-generation college student has access to meaningful work experience and a strong professional network before graduation.
