Gauge Capital is a private equity firm that partners with owners, managers and equity stakeholders of successful middle-market companies to maximize their potential. Gauge’s primary aim is long-term, sustainable value creation through alignment of interests, transformational change and organic and strategically acquired growth. The Gauge team collaborates with management and its network of advisors and influencers and primarily focuses on four things:(1) optimizing the strategy and value creation agenda;(2) ensuring the right talent exists at the management and board levels;(3) creating alignment among all stakeholders; and (4) providing sufficient capital to achieve the company’s vision. Gauge invests in high-potential businesses in the United States and Canada with approximately $5-50 million in EBITDA. Typical transactions include management buy-outs, recapitalizations, divestitures, consolidation, and growth investments.
