Gavridis Glass

With over 70 years of experience within the glass industry, Gavridis Glass has built a reputation for providing an on time, highly professional service. Gavridis brand name was firstly introduced within the glass sector in 1948, when George Gavridis started working on the cutting, processing and the installation of glass. He started his business on rented premises of 60 sq.m, by making his first engraved designs on glass using handmade tools. Later, the workshop evolved into a factory, under the trading name, “George Gavridis – Glass and Mirrors”. In the assistance of mechanical equipment and experienced craftsmen, he focused on the construction industry, which was booming at the time. His energy and passion were transferred to his two sons, Christos and Panagiotis, who succeeded him in 1980. They, in turn, added their academic and technical knowledge, as well as their fresh ideas, which constituted the magical recipe for their company’s success. With a new bigger investment in mechanical equipment and trained human resources, the company expanded and it developed a strong activity within the architectural industry. At the same time, it was involved in the designing and manufacturing of glass in the field of professional equipment, construction & ship. In addition, it expanded its premises and now it operates in a privately-owned space of sq.m.
