To this day we are often asked how and why did we get into this niche? And the simple truth is … WE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE! Like many of our current clients we are also real estate and investment professionals ourselves. We also had other investor clients that relied on our expertise and direction as well. They had trouble obtaining funding to expand their profit margins (or just to get a “start” in the race) Our investors would walk into their local mainstream bank (such as Bank of America) and either got declined for a loan, or if they didn’t get declined the approval the bank came back with was a ‘tiny’ amount. Even those with excellent credit! So when they learned this basic approach clearly did not work, we then recommended they go online to a few “creditable” financial/funding companies with claims of funding. We thought this advice would solve their funding problem once and for all. Just fill out an “easy” application, and like a magic wand funding appears? Right? … WRONG. Here are just a few of the weaknesses we found in other “expert” funding consultants/providers: They lacked competent analysis before the application was ever submitted Charged Upfront fee’s (many would just take the money and run) Made outrageous funding claims Funding Model is only credit cards Lacked professional communication Cookie Cutter Systems And… their just always seemed to be a “glitch” with the service! We personally were outraged at the lack of professionalism with these funding providers. I could not believe this was the expert “service” that countless creditworthy borrowers seeking all their funding options were settling for on a daily basis! So again we had NO OTHER CHOICE but to painstakingly research, test, and learn what works, and what doesn’t work to obtain funding in this tough lending climate. From word of mouth, we started to get more and more referrals and requests for funding services until it eventually evolved into what it is today.
