There was a Long pending demand of the people of Bahal and surrounding villages within a radius of about 60 kms for opening a co-educational degree college as it was not possible for the parents to send their wards at far off places for getting higher studies and consequently their wards used to get deprived of the opportunity of getting higher education. This demand of the people could not even be meted out at the state govt. level despite of strenuous efforts due to financial stringencies. Under the circumstances the agony of the people was heart felt by the great philanthropist Sh Hari Krishna Chaudhary who came forward with a firm decision to establish a co-educational degree college at his ancestral village Bahal under self finance scheme in the sweet memory of his beloved mother Smt. Gindori Devi Chaudhary.
