Each pair is finely polished and edges are carefully honed and trued to deliver long, faithful, and reliable service: One major improvement resulting from these tours was the introduction of ball bearing pivot mechanisms. Many of our product lines include models with Ball Bearing pivots. This state-of-the-art design incorporates ball bearings in a housing press-fitted into the pivot hole. The ball bearing restricts motion at the pivot to a single plane eliminating annoying "wobble" such as when the pivot hole normally wears due to motion against the pivot pin.
