Gemini Tec provide sub-contract manufacturing services for complex surface mount PCB products. What makes Gemini Tec a unique CEM? Operating from our sqft facility based in Hampshire UK, we use world class manufacturing technology to support our customers with a dedicated Rapid prototype, NPI to production service. We are the only UK CEM operating entirely with solder jet paste printing technology, from market leaders Mycronic. Jet printing allows us to deliver assured product quality for demanding and complex SMT/PCBA production. We operate three fully automated and highly advanced surface mount lines, and from Mycronic. Our SMT department consists of 8x placement machines with 64 placement heads to provide the ultimate in ‘high mix’ SMT production for both NPI and medium volume production. Our reflow capability includes vapour phase reflow, vapour phase with vacuum reflow and nitrogen (N2). This broad range of capability allows us to produce a high mix of products including; rigid, flex, flex-rigid, high thermal mass and highly complex SMT products. Process validation tools include 3D AOI inspection from Mirtec and X-Ray inspection from X-Tek and Scienscope. Our technical capability includes PCB design layout with Altium designer, FET tooling for blank PCB manufacturing and advanced data preparation using Aegis Factory Logix. IPC trained technicians deliver a fully comprehensive service for electronic products, including full box build and production test. We employ over 60 staff and enjoy a long established reputation for delivering high quality production that spans over 45 years.
