Gen-ID Lab Services, Inc. provides single nucleotide polymorphism analysis data primarily to doctors and hospital in the United States. Single nucleotide polymorphism is a small genetic change, or variation, that can occur within a person's DNA sequence. This analysis provides information on genetic predisposition to varies diseases, such as different forms of cancer, cardiovascular abnormalities, dermatological deceases, and more. SNP data also enables predicting pharmacodynamic pattern pertinent to individual drugs for individual patients. It has a collaboration agreement with S2 Biosciences, Inc. for the development of new drug candidates for the treatment of Bird Flu infections in humans.
