gèn, which means something is permeate in chinese, all over the mountains and plains without an ending in the universe. such pure natural scenery with massive serenity is what the world initially was. inspired by that, we are trying to constantly feel and perceive this world with awe. whether in urban or nature environment, genarchitects insists focusing on the genuineness of designing and constructing, and hopes that through discreetly dealing with location and functional requirements, we could offer a calm and sincere answer towards complicated and uncertain reality situations. genarchitects was founded by Kong Rui and Fan Beilei in shanghai, their works and studies were published on several academic journals and significant website, such as architectural journal, t+a, urban environment design (ued),new architecture, interior designer, a+a, archdaily and besides practice, the partners of genarchitects serve as visiting critics for the architecture department of tianjin university, shanghai jiaotong university and tongji university. they also serve as visiting professors at southeast university and tongji university. In the meanwhile, and they are invited to have lectures and academic activities at universitiesand cultural institutions, such astianjin university, nanjing university, huazhong university of science and technology, and xi’an university of architecture and technology.
