Genderfunk

GenderFunk is the inclusive party series, where You. Do. You. We are a local collective and a breakthrough pioneer in creating safe spaces for local queer artists and all humans to express sexuality, gender and their own brand of creativity through music and live performances. The GenderFunk inclusive party series has been working to make a positive impact in the local community through the message of You, Do You! And has received tremendous love and support from guests and a growing network of artists and volunteers since Summer 2018. GenderFunk's events are not to be missed! GenderFunk’s objectives are: To create a safe, consensual artistic space where people can express their sexuality, gender, creative ideas and HAVE FUN. To provide a stage for alternative artists (especially local artists) to express their radical and revolutionary art (and pay them well for it so they can continue to do it). To uphold and promote community values of Love, Respect, Understanding, and Expression by welcoming anyone who shares and contributes POSITIVITY to our queer space, and providing a positive queer example of how to live our BEST lives. To give back to the local community via charity events, fundraising and promoting local artists.
