Who is Genesis Reading for? Welcome, I am Sheridan. I am a private therapist specializing in teaching frustrated dyslexic and dysgraphic learners to become independent, grade-level readers and writers by igniting curiosity and joy of learning with creative strategy games rooted in brain science. I love to teach people about communication and connection. I am going to show you some powerful strategies that create the right environment that caters to your child’s learning style. By tapping into the fun zone, students relax, trust the process, create connection and see results. Based on neuroscience, Multisensory Language Therapy (MSLT), is internationally recognized as the most effective strategy. MSLT is for any reader, but mainly it is used for students who have tried everything else and are at their wit’s end. It is also for students who have recently been diagnosed and would like to save time, money and heartache by using a strategy based in science. It is also for students who would like to take action and avoid years of useless ‘free’ intervention. I’m on a mission to help parents, teachers & educators access the tools they need right now to get measurable and accountable results so that their child becomes more independent and soar. I work one-to-one and conduct group workshops online, in person in the New Jersey area. I am also available for speaking opportunities and media appearances to help further my mission to empower reading confidence in young people.
