Genspect is an international alliance of parents’ groups and professionals whose aim is to advocate for the parents of gender-questioning children and young people. We are a forward-facing organization that is focused on opening this subject up into the mainstream media. Genspect was set up to give a voice to parents of gender-questioning children and young people. Many parents are concerned that their kids are not receiving appropriate treatment and support; many do not feel free to speak out about their concerns. We are a non-partisan, independent organization, with members hailing from across the political spectrum and holding a range of personal beliefs. Our interest relates exclusively to the well-being and safeguarding of children and young people and does not extend to party-political or religious allegiance.
