GenturaDx was founded on the idea that molecular diagnostic testing should be simple, affordable and have utility across a broad range of tests. Our mission is to create a comprehensive, cost-effective and easy to use diagnostics system so the clinical benefits of molecular diagnostics can be made available to all physicians and their patients. Although molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases as a clinical testing technology has been initially adopted by some labs for some tests, we believe that our engineering innovation, access to proprietary assay technologies and potential for rapid and broad menu development will make molecular testing a practical reality for labs worldwide. The GenturaDx system incorporates all aspects of the molecular diagnostic process, from sample preparation through amplification to result generation in a single use cassette. Our unique design accommodates multiple sample types and assay processing protocols, allowing the patented, standardized cassette to serve multiple assays, expanding the menu potential of the system. Finally, the system requires no technician interaction beyond the addition of the sample and insertion of the cassette into the instrument.
