GenVision is an independent power producer, IPP, in renewable energy, primarily focused on solar energy. Operating across Africa, the company is fully integrated and self-funded from development through to construction and operation. GenVision combines development, engineering, financing, construction and operation of utility scale renewable energy, solar and wind, projects. This allows GenVision to deliver utility scale renewable energy projects faster and at lower cost than any other company in its markets. GenVision is a joint venture between Glencore, one of the world's largest energy and commodities businesses and Nvision a specialist in renewable energy projects development in emerging and frontier markets. Nvision founded and built East Africa's largest commercial and industrial solar operator.
