Geoangel was incorporated in central Indiana in the year 2017 out of a burning desire to improve the safety and quality of life of the more than 2 million Americans in nursing homes, and the more than 5.5 million with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Geoangel Pro believes that: Residents with medical conditions that lead to wandering behaviors should not have to give up their freedom of physical movement in the name of safety. Resident’s physical freedom to move around the facility and go outside are basic human rights that shouldn’t be infringed upon if there is another viable way to keep them safe. Current mainstream technologies, properly applied, could allow people the freedom to move as they wish, without compromising their safety. however, when we went looking for products like this, we found that the current state of the industry did not support our beliefs and aspirations.
