Geographical Association

The Geographical Association (GA) is a subject association with the core charitable objective of furthering the study, learning and teaching of geography. We do this through a variety of activities- Journals for an academic audience, secondary teachers and primary teachers - Publications for primary and secondary geography teaching - A large international Annual Conference and Exhibition - Training events for geography teachers - An extensive website full of teaching resources and advice - A lively members' magazine - Lobbying and advising Government about the importance of geography in the curriculum - A network of local Branches around the country - Project work to develop innovative teaching resources The Geographical Association is a registered charity (number 1135148) and its core activities are financed by membership subscriptions.
