Georesources Transfercenter

GeoResources provides research and industry expertise in the exploration and development of georesources. It combines applied research with geo-consulting and project development for industry. Services focus on oil, gas, and deep geothermal energy. GeoResources offers integrated multi-disciplinary as well as specific, single-focused studies. Integrated applied and exploration-relevant fundamental research methodologies, the integration of source and sink models and the quantification of basin development and HC systems are key expertises of GeoResources. GeoResources is an independent, commercial spin-off from the University of Heidelberg founded in 2007. It is associated to the Institute of Geosciences. Recent clients include Wintershall Holding GmbH, ExxonMobil Production, E.ON Ruhrgas E&P, GDF Suez E&P, RWE Dea AG, ENI E&P, BHP Billiton Petroleum, Stadtwerke Mainz, Stadtwerke Heidelberg and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), Germany.
