Georgetown Behavioral Hospital

Georgetown Behavioral Hospital is a 46-bed, inpatient, adult mental health facility located in the rolling hills of Southern Ohio. We offer 24-hour psychiatric services provided by licensed professionals in various disciplines. Additionally, our voluntary admission hospital offers general psychiatric care with the average stay lasting about 30 days. For those who need assistance reaching our hospital, we provide transportation assistance to and from our treatment center within a 200-mile radius. Georgetown Behavioral Hospital strives to strengthen family communications, enhance self-confidence, and help patients and families cope with psychiatric illnesses. We believe in taking a holistic approach to hospitalization, which means helping patients, their families, and their communities work together toward restorative wellness. Patients served by Georgetown Behavioral Hospital attend group therapy sessions, individual therapy sessions, and recreational therapy throughout their stay. Our mission is to partner with individuals and their families to solve the unmet psychiatric needs of the community. Through providing a continuously improving continuum of care that is cost-efficient, culturally competent, and evidence-based, we serve the recovery needs of the entire Southern Ohio community.
