Georgia Symphony Orchestra

Not just an orchestra! Our unique, multi-dimensional arts organization includes the following performance groups: • Georgia Symphony Orchestra – A regional symphony orchestra performing classics and pops concerts • GSO Chorus – A 90-voice chorus performing orchestral and choral classics, pops and independently produced events • GSO Jazz! – Big band and combo performances at the historic Strand Theatre • Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra – One of the top-10 largest youth music education programs in U.S. and largest in the Southeast, featuring five orchestras, string-only chamber ensemble, jazz and percussion ensembles and youth chorus We also host an annual Sensory Friendly Concert, designed especially for persons with sensory sensitivities and their families.
