Georgian-American School Progress

The main mission of Georgian-American school “Progress” is to provide each student with safe and caring atmosphere, to help them achieve the maximum of their ability, to teach them to appreciate different cultures and ideas, to help the students learn western values and use them for the welfare of their own country. The mission of the school is established according to the common ideas of the school administration, teachers, students and their parents. School community believes that each child is a unique creature and school has to give them the best conditions, so that they could show maximum of their abilities. High academic performance, readiness for the continuous education, settled and dynamic knowledge, with which a school has to provide each student, is achieved in a safe and caring atmosphere. Our goal is to teach our students not only the academic skills but to contribute the formation of their personal characteristics, to encourage the disciplines of respecting each other and self-discipline, while each student acknowledges the responsibilities of his behavior and its results. School community is invoked to bring up motivated, progressively thinking generation, who will be prepared to meet and handle with challenges of the modern world.
