Საქართველოს Უსინათლოთა Კავშირი Georgian Blind Union

Union of Blinds in Georgia was established in 1926 with a name Georgian Blind Society. It is a non-governmental organization, which has 15 branches and there are about 3200 blind members, which is 30% of blind people in the whole country. Branch administrations provide legal and social protection for the blind people to the best of their ability.The mission of the organization is to defend their legal and social protection, their physical and intellectual rehabilitation. For this purposes, the Union of Blinds in Georgia collaborates with the country’s central and local authorities and with other donors.
