Geosentric
GeoSentric Oyj (aik. Benefon Oy) oli suomalainen pörssiyhtiö, jonka kotipaikka oli Salo. Yhtiö valmisti aluksi auto- ja matkapuhelimia, loppuvaiheessa ohjelmistoja ja palveluita.Vuonna 2007 Benefonin nimeksi vaihdettiin GeoSentric Oyj. Uuden nimen oli tarkoitus vastata yhtiön uutta toimialaa. Benefon oli samana vuonna ostanut vasta käynnistysvaiheessa olleen hollantilaisen GeoSolutions B.V-nimisen yhtiön, joka oli kehittänyt paikkaperustaisiin palveluihin liittyvää tekniikkaa ja tuotteita.[3] Samassa yhteydessä yhtiö päätti keskittyä ohjelmistoihin ja palveluihin.
