Gestione Silo is an optical manufacturing company being on the market since 1976 and specialized in developing, design and manufacturing optical components, optomechanical components (optical assemblies), optical coating and testing of optical components and systems. Furthermore, Gestione Silo implements feasibility studies and optical designs of an optical or optomechanical system in order to achieve differing customer needs for our business sectors, which are: biomedical, industry, military, R&D, space and aeronautics. The range of products offered to our customers covers the optical and photonics market: it involves applications ranging from imaging and lighting to optoelectronics, optomechanics, photonics, lasers and biomedical sciences. The industrial production includes spherical and cylindrical lenses, prisms, optical filters, optical mirrors and many others optical elements customizing all our customers' requests. More particularly, we operate with the raw materials in the Schott, Hoya, Ohara, and CDGM catalogues as well as with ZnSe, fused silica, germanium, silicon, ZnS, ZnSe, CaF2, and MgF2. The most-widely coatings used are: AR UV, AR VIS-NIR, AR IR, BeamSplitter (polarizing and not), dichroic-filter, metal-mirrored, high-reflectivity mirroring, V and VV, and ITO Quality Certification- ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System, Certificate N° IT65481- ISO 9001:2015 Certificate N° 9190GESL- ISO 9211 qualification of 3.5-5 micron AR coatings on ZnSe and ZnS.
