Getabout Training Services provides nationally recognised competency-based driver and operator courses to meet the ongoing needs across the mining, oil, gas, water, environment, utilities, transport and logistics sectors. We have successfully delivered its nationally recognised, competency-based specialty courses throughout Australia and internationally for more than 23 years. In that time the agency has evolved and developed to meet the ever-changing needs of industry and customer expectations. Getabout has worked in collaboration with governing bodies and industry skills councils to review and develop units of competency that fulfil the needs of industry, and as such are uniquely aware of the requirements placed on employees while operating on-site. The training courses cover a range of subjects with the emphasis on workplace health and safety, environmental awareness and safe driving practices in all environments, including gravel roads. Getabout is a flexible training provider and can tailor the training to suit the needs of staff, whether they are novice or experienced. With safety being its number one priority, all courses are run as small groups for personal and comprehensive learning, which can be delivered individually or as part of a longer-term professional development program. The courses incorporate licence classes from C to MR, whether that be from applying safe driving practices, operating ATVs or developing a training solution that encompasses a complete on-location 4WD program.
