Hello and Welcome The gf2go story so far… After a positive blood test for Coeliac disease in 2015, I was horrified that I wouldn’t be able to eat my beloved Belgian buns. My favourite food was bread, so I always say now that I probably overdosed on gluten! Whether or not there was any truth in that I was now on a mission to find gorgeous gluten free food. At first I was rather upset to find that I didn’t really like any of the gluten free breads on offer and another challenge I found was finding tasty food on the go. Supermarkets now have quite a range of gluten free foods, but there is still the problem of getting fed in a hurry. We Ceoliacs and the gluten intolerant community are offered usually only one choice of sandwich on the lunch shelf and that has often sold out. I have been treated as a bit of a pain in the neck at times, due to lack of awareness and although this attitude is changing there is still a long way to go. Rose became gluten intolerant due to IBS and she loved the idea of making the solution to our problems our work. Gf2go was really born out of frustration but, it is now our goal and life’s work to help anyone who has to avoid gluten to find foods they love. We do our research continually, keeping our eyes peeled for any tasty new foods to share. We also manufacture some items ourselves as our previous business, Pudding n Pie Ltd won a couple of Great Taste Awards and it would be a shame to let that go to waste.
