Pan-African - Global Fashion Value Chain Ecosystem GFVC Africa is not just a programme — it is a Pan-African ecosystem institution, established to integrate Africa’s diverse cultural, industrial, and economic strengths into a unified, high-road fashion value chain economy. Through tens of tiers across a 7-pillar model, GFVC Africa creates an innovative and sustainable industrial ecosystem, empowering communities and connecting Africa to the global fashion economy. At the heart of the institution is the GFVC Africa Commission, the executive arm responsible for implementing our long-term roadmap. The Commission oversees policy, governance, and cross-continental coordination, ensuring that all 54 African national ecosystems are integrated into one sustainable framework by September 2026. Supporting the Commission is the SMART GFVC Policy Centre, the strategic engine of the ecosystem. It drives policy research, strategy, and advocacy, ensuring alignment with AfCFTA, Agenda 2063, BRICS, and international trade standards. The Commission is further supported by SMART GFVC Africa Pty Ltd, the permanent commercial and industrialization programme implementation arm.
