Gianpiero Urzetta

This is the story of a teenager and a courtyard in Brianza. Inside a garage, a work table, a knapsack and some shelves: no more than that. Sewing machines were repaired to the rhythm of the Motley Crue. In the story there is also a van for repairs and quick deliveries around the streets of Milan, to the constellation of ateliers and small workshops where the Pret a Porter was born; those which would make Italian fashion great in the world. Today that van has become four. There are big fashion companies and young designers and tailors who will become great, and for Gianpiero it is always essential to do things in person, together with his team. On the way back from setting up a tailors shop at the Cannes Film Festival last year, we stopped to watch a KISS concert.
