Giant Grass

Giant Grass is a Melbourne-based, design + build studio that strives to create social impact and a sustainable future. We believe that a genuinely collaborative design process has the potential to not only create inspiring outcomes, but also empower those involved in the process. For us, sustainable building material such as bamboo is a means to build and empower communities. We adopt an experiential learning and design-thinking approach in most of our projects. Having said that, we also acknowledge that each project is unique, with different collaborators, funding mechanisms, values, priorities, and timeframes, which requires tailoring a project-specific approach.
