Gibbs Technologies has developed its High Speed Amphibian technology for almost 20 years. This technology has lead to the Aquada, Quadski, Humdinga & Phibian. These are the world’s first amphibians to be designed for mass production that can exceed 30 mph on water and equivalent road speeds on land. The privately held company, founded by Alan Gibbs with Neil Jenkins in 1998, is leading the world in high speed amphibian technology. With the Quadski being manufactured by Gibbs Sports Amphibians in the USA, the UK base is currently focusing its endeavors on commercial amphibians for first responder, aid, logistical and disaster relief applications. Gibbs is based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK. where it maintains a small private collection of historic amphibious vehicles and continues to develop this exciting technology.
