GiC Informatics has a unique perspective on assisting healthcare providers in the adoption and deployment of Electronic Health Records. We believe that the key to achieving this lies primarily with the physician; without a plan that embraces the unique workflow and medical decision making issues they face, further progress is at risk. Founded by clinical informatics professionals with more than two decades of experience with observing both successful and unsuccessful EHR/CPOE development and adoption, we have created unique programs that serve the needs of clinicians at critical moments such as EHR go-lives. Our unique difference is based on the belief that there is no more effective resource to address current electronic health records issues than current in-practice clinicians. GiC’s Clinical Activation Partners (CAP) program places physicians who have used the same brand of EHR/CPOE software going live at a customer site in their daily practices for one to three years. They are carefully selected and trained to assist physicians who are using these systems for the first time, usually in an intense go-live activation. We have built working relationships with hundreds of physicians who use EHR’s including Epic, Cerner, McKesson and Meditech in US hospitals and offices in their daily practices whom we can deploy. To date, we have helped over physicians at 50+ hospitals as well as many hospital-based office practices manage their physician go-live experience.
