Gifted English

We are a social service dedicated to providing Africans with better access to education. We set up an orphanage for 60 orphans in Uganda as well as an English and maths school. At Gifted English we bring together people from all over the world who speak English - they now act as teachers. Each teacher takes a group of 10 Ugandan children or teenagers and teaches them online English lessons twice a week. We think this is a wonderful idea - we are already making a change, we already are moving forward! In the very beginning our colleagues in Uganda did not have any computers, Internet was rare and slow. Of course, educational process was struggling. Nevertheless, we did not give up and we were doing English lessons through WhatsApp, using voice messages, as video call is always breaking because of lack of net. And you know what - it worked! Improvisation and creativity hehe :) Couple of months ago we collected money to send to Uganda so guys there bought their 1st laptop and a proper router. Now our studying process is really improving!
