The brand's name GiftOmi is inspired from the word Gift in English and Omiyage () in Japanese which means souvenir. GiftOmi logo signifies the diversity and ethnicity of the brand. The design is inspired by the Jaguar - Man golden chest plate from Museo del Oro in Bogota - Colombia where the initial idea of GiftOmi was created and Gaudi's lizard "El Drac" in Park Güell, Barcelona - Spain where the project idea was turned into reality.
