Gigee (pronounced GIG-EE) provides an easy-to-use online broadcasting platform that instantly turns a personal computer into a live, global stage. Gigee allows any type of artist or instructor to sell tickets to live, online events using just a webcam and a mic, enabling fans to watch the event in real time from anywhere in the world. Artists simply schedule the event, set a ticket price, determine the minimum number of tickets to be sold, and promote the event using Facebook, Twitter and any other promotional techniques of choice. They can also charge for a special Q&A session after the event. Artists earn 80% of total ticket sales and funds can be withdrawn as soon as the show has ended.
